This background is a technique using sponges and ink. I used more mustard on the top third, then blended in pumpkin pie and real rust for the middle third, then the bottom third is old olive. I just kept blending till I got the look and texture that I wanted. I used close to cocoa for the lovely as a tree stamp. For the final step I used the close to cocoa to ink around the edges and then put the image on crushed curry cardstock for the base of my card.
