Silver Chain Tassel Necklace

A gorgeous pendant in antique silver (almost pewter in color) with a silver chain tassel and a silver chain.  $18.00

Denim Three-Strand Necklace

A nice casual three-strand necklace with a lobster clasp in a mix of blue Lapis and silver beads.  The light and dark shades give great dimension.  The third strand is an iridescent tube bead in shimmery shades that change from blue to green as it catches the light.  $18.00

Embossed Wedding Card

It's hard to see the detail in this wedding cake card.  This was inspired by the bride's wedding invitations that were done in black/white/ink scroll work.  So for her card I used a Melon Mambo card base a whisper white mat and then layered a black mat on top of that.  The cake is graduated layers of white rectangles and then the corners rounder punch was used on the top corners.  For the top two layers I used the scallop edge punch and the made a matching Melon Mambo layer to distinguish the layers.  The white cake layers used the hostess set from the 2011/2012 IB&C first with versamark then black embossing powder for a nice shine.  The flowers were punched with the Bitty shapes punch pack set and then the smallest basic pearl was used in the center of each flower.  I did "cup" the flower a little before adhering to give dimension.

Here's another version of the three strand special occasion necklace.  This one has cream/ivory pearls mixed with silver spacer beads and the silver chain with rhinestone dangles.  Great for any special event and priced at just $35.00

Card Club Projects

Christmas Lodge and Pewter Embossing Powder

White Embossed ornament.  Double layered for depth and dimension.

Both of these cards are going to be used for my October card club.  The host likes a mix of more traditional with a little more modern.  So I used the Christmas lodge and the beautiful Pewter embossing powder for the very traditional Red/Green Christmas card.  Then to switch it up a little I went with Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist and Pretty in Pink.  I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out.  I hope the club members like them.
